Every entrepreneur is always searching for more time. When I started being efficient with my productivity was a huge challenge. I had to find unique ways to get myself to stay on track. Finding those unique ways turned out to be a huge challenge. So, because it was a huge challenge for me I want to be able to ease your burden and save you some time. Below are my 3 productivity tools for entrepreneurs.

Evernote/Microsoft OneNote

Both Evernote and Microsoft OneNote are really good note-taking apps that I would recommend. I will go ahead and put it out there that I am and always will be a pen and paper type of guy. But when you are trying to be productive organization is key. That is where both Evernote and OneNote come into play. They make it easy to keep everything in one place. You will also be saving quite a bit of money. Buying notebooks and pens can get a little expensive over time. They are very easy to figure out so I won’t bore you with a tutorial here.

Microsoft Planner/Trello

I am a huge fan of both Trello and Microsoft Planner. The love for these came from when I first heard of Agile/Scrum. Knowing what I have to do for the week and watching myself move from To Do to doing and then to done is a refreshing feeling. It provides me with a sense of accomplishment. Kind of like I’m getting stuff done. It may seem like a small thing to grab on to, but trust me it matters. I will say there isn’t much difference between Trello and Planner. But if you are looking for a free resource go for Trello first. If you already bought Office 365 Business Essentials though, Planner comes with that plan and you might as well use that. They both do the same thing so it really doesn’t matter what you end up using. Just as long as you use it.

3 Productivity Tools for Entrepreneurs

Calendly

Of the 3 productivity tools for entrepreneurs, this is probably the most important one. I say that because your calendar should be your best friend. Calendly helps you keep it organized. Sure, if you had an assistant keeping your calendar organized would be easy. But when you are starting your entrepreneurial journey, you won’t be able to afford one. Trust me. So, if you are starting out at the bottom of the barrel Calendly is the best way to start.

Takeaway

Those were my 3 productivity tools for entrepreneurs. I hope this was helpful and provided you with a few good resources. These resources helped me when I was first starting out and I hope they do the same to you!
